Elk Copper Weathervane

The elk is a magnificent looking creature and an icon of the mountains and valleys of Western North America. This copper weathervane captures the essence of its beauty.

This weathervane stands 40" high with Elk ornament measuring 22" long x 19" high x 2" wide.

The Elk weathervane ornament is designed to swivel and point into the prevailing wind.

Copper ornament, copper balls and brass directionals are hand polished for a beautiful look that ages naturally with the elements. Within a few months, this weathervane will lose its polished look and start to naturally tarnish. At first, the finish will turn dark, like an old copper penny. Then, after several years, the surface will begin to bloom with a beautiful natural blue-green patina.
