Elegant, full bodied copper sailboat weathervane with copper and brass accents. This weathervane would make an exceptional gift for the sailor in the family or as a wonderful piece of functional art for that waterside property. The weathervane is 48" high with the sailboat ornament measuring 19" long x 26" high x 4" wide.
Copper Sailboat weathervane ornament is designed to point in the direction of the prevailing wind.
Includes:
- Full bodied copper weathervane ornament
- Brass direction indicators (N-S-W-E)
- Copper spacer balls
- Steel support rod with adjustable, aluminum roof mount base that mounts to any angle of roof with the included screws.
Assembly required. Complete instructions are included.
Within a few months, this weathervane will lose its polished look and start to naturally tarnish. At first, the finish will turn dark, like an old copper penny. Then, after several years, the surface will begin to bloom with a beautiful natural blue-green patina.
