The Purple Martin Conservation Association's Dawn Song CD contains the vocalizations of adult males to help attract sub-adults to the colony when played loudly between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. (Playing this recording for one or two hours before dawn is ideal, but it can also be played any time of day during the period when migrating purple martins are arriving.)
When used in conjunction with the Daytime Chatter recording (sold separately), it can help attract purple martins by allowing you to recreate the sounds of a thriving colony site. Purple Martins cannot resist investigating when they hear other martins!
