Duncraft's "The Champion" is an all metal squirrel-proof platform feeder featuring Duncraft's patented Squirrel Blocker grid system that stops squirrels from reaching the bird seed.

The Champion's "Squirrel Blocker" grid floats on top of the seed, blocking the squirrel's ability to grab the seed. The beaks of your birds can reach through the grids, clamp on a seed and pull it out. Just spread a layer of black oil sunflower seed in the bottom tray, and then secure the grids over the top. The two grid system creates a permanent barrier between squirrels and your seed. Squirrels can't maneuver their paws through the grids to pull out even a single seed.

The Champion bird feeder attracts a wide variety of birds because more birds prefer feeding from a platform than from any other type of feeder. The pavilion roof protects seed from the weather while offering shelter to feeding birds. The bottom tray is screened to provide drainage and to keep seed aerated and dry. Easy to fill and clean.
